Event Info: Critically acclaimed Hip-Hop duo DEAD PREZ will host 'Mind Sex: The
Official Freedom Tour Afterparty', Saturday, October 11th at the Noise
Lab in Seattle.
In honor of the ladies, the duo has selected a unique blend of club
bangers and old school R&B hits guaranteed to keep the party crunk all
night.
Internationally known and locally grown DJ Vitamin D and DJ Topspin will
be providing the soundtrack for this night to remember.
Admission to the event is $15 or $10 for ladies with Red Black & Green
wristband or headband, which are available at the House of Stylez.
Proceeds from the party will benefit the Seattle Hip-Hop Youth Council,
political prisoner Omari Tahir-Garrett, the African American Heritage
Museum and Cultural Center, and community and youth development
programs.
Dead Prez will headline the ACLU Freedom Tour, a free concert at the
University of Washington HUB Ballroom while promoting their highly
anticipated album 'Get Free or Die Trying', which hits stores October
21.
The event is sponsored by the House of Stylez with support from
Seaspot.com, The Facts Newspaper, Indigo Red, Full Moon Press and
Urbankind.com.
