Rapstress Vita, whose gritty rhymes can be heard on the Murder Inc. Records all-star hit "Down 4 U," has left the hit-making label for an undisclosed reason.
She apparently asked to be let go from her contract. Vita, who was the first female to be signed to Murder Inc., was expected to release her debut CD, LaVita Dolce, this year.
