The Key Figure In P.Diddy Shooting Was Killed

The key figure in Sean "P.Diddy" Combs gun and bribery trial three years ago was slained early Tuesday in Atlanta, GA. Anthony "Wolf" Jones, 36, and another man, identified by police as Lamont Gurdy, where shot and killed in a murder that took place outside the Chaos nightclub in the Buckhead area around 4 a.m. Jones was the bodyguard for P.Diddy during a December 27, 1999, incident in which P.Diddy and label mate Shyne were accused of firing weapons inside a Manhattan nightclub. Jones was acquitted of criminal possession of a weapon in the second and third degrees when the trail ended in March of 2001. Diddy was acquitted in five counts of criminal posession and bribery. Shyne was sentenced to ten years in prison.
